Cruise port transfers with room for every suitcase.

Harwich International Port is just down the A120 from Colchester — and for sailings further afield we'll drive you to Tilbury, Dover or Southampton so your holiday starts at the gangway.

Cruise ship berthed alongside the quay under a deep blue sky

Ideal for

  • Norwegian fjords and Baltic sailings from Harwich
  • Multi-generation family cruises
  • Couples with a lot of luggage
  • Ferry foot passengers to the Netherlands

Cruise luggage needs a different kind of taxi

A fortnight at sea means formal wear, cases for every climate and usually more bags than any airport trip. Squeezing that into the wrong car isn't a great start to a cruise. Tell us what you're bringing and we'll suggest the right vehicle, whether that's an estate, our MPV or an 8-seater, so everyone and everything fits comfortably.

Cruise lines give each cabin an embarkation window, and arriving too early can mean waiting on the quayside. We time your pickup to your allocated slot rather than simply getting you there as soon as possible, and we drop you at the terminal's luggage drop so porters can take your cases straight to the ship.

On the way home we arrange your collection for disembarkation morning, keeping an eye on the ship's arrival so we're there when you've cleared the terminal.

Questions

Cruise Port Transfers FAQs.

All FAQs

How much luggage can we bring?

Tell us how many large cases and smaller bags you have when booking. We'll suggest the right vehicle for it, so you find out before you confirm — not on the day.

What if the ship docks late on the way home?

We follow the ship's arrival and allow for terminal processing, so a late docking just means we adjust our timing. Your fare doesn't change.

Can you take us to the Stena Line ferry at Harwich?

Yes — foot passengers travelling from Harwich to the Hook of Holland are dropped at the ferry terminal entrance, and we can collect you on your return crossing too.
